El, This is from briefing.com: 13:34 ET WorldCom (WCOM) 47 13/16 +3 5/16: -- Update -- AFX newswire reporting that company has been approached by both Nippon Telegraph (NTT) and British Telecom (BTY), but that it has rejected an $84/share offer from BTY and is holding out for $125; story cites Worldcom sources and is unconfirmed. Reuters reporting that an industry source calls the AFX story "rubbish" and that BTY has no comment.
