preamble, for thread participants.... completely illiquid roach motel. some people chased it yesterday, and they're paying today..... the sort of stock that one has to let come to your bid.

That said..... New Brunswick Scientific (NBSC).

Mike:

Shakers, incubators, ultralow freezers, etc. Market cap of about $43 million, sales (projecting last quarter forward) should be about $45 million at better than 40% margin. Factory is fully owned.

They own 80% of a biotech with some rather nice claim language, claim language that Novo has licensed. You can check it out at dgibt.com

Disclaimer..... If DGI can do (and has done) everything that they claim, NBSC is worth about $200/share. That is.... read with extreme caution. Nonetheless, the priority date on the patent is the best I've found thus far.

Mike,
What do you think of WhiteHall Jewellers (JWL). It has been cut in half on earnings shortfall. Good long term play? Zales and others also getting hit.

first usa 2.99%
chase 2.99%
mbna 4.9%
mellon (credit card owned by citi) 4.9%
citicorp 6.9%
american express 3.9%

recently aria had (may still have) a 0.0% intro rate on balance transfers.
