and another thing... i think i've been willing to admit when i've been mistaken. i see none of that from the likes of cheryl or jc. as for my postings which precipitated jc's last insult, i'm fairly certain he was well aware that, if he'd actually posted some code as he was challenged to do, that i would have admitted my mistake. instead it's just like it used to be in zachmann's forum, there where the os/2 zealots would let their religious bigotry get in the way of reasoned debate, constantly twisting the words of others and failing to grasp large chunks of common-sense logic. the same thing appears to be happening today with these agents of sunw. msft is certainly no angel - that's the nature of the beast (any large organization). but cheryl's postings in general and jc's postings in particular are telling as to the mindset of sunw supporters. i'm sure there are several msft people here who aren't intersted in my kind of 'help.' but as far as i know i'm free to post my opinion here. so you think it's ok when jc accuses me of incest with my mother? well,, you guys are from california and you elected a president from arkansas... in light of that it sort of makes sense. war andy
