Thanks. -MikeM(From Florida) __________________________ FRANKFURT, Aug 3- German telecoms operator Deutsche Telekom AG said on Thursday it had awarded a contract in the triple digit millions of euros to Siemens AG and Israel's ECI Telecom to supply broadband access technology. Under the terms of the contract, Siemens and ECI will provide technology for Deutsche Telekom's T-DSL [I believe T refers to, "T-Online." DT's ISP division] digital subscriber line technology, which permits high speed Internet access for subscribers. Deutsche Telekom said the technology provides Internet access at 768 bits per second, around 20 times faster than an analogue modem and 12 times faster than normal ISDN technology.
