The inability to explain or prove a matter to someone who has not had comparable experience or similar training is a commonplace, and means little. It is not mysticism, it is everyday occurrence.

One does not know anything.

That depends, I think, on your definition of know.

By a totally nihilistic definition of knowing, you are right.

But by a functionally meaningful definition of knowing, I know that my fingers are at this moment moving over a keyboard, and that my eyes see letters appearing on a screen in front of me.
