possible but unlikely because it would hurt amd just as much as intel. CPUs would become true commodity product with GMs as low as single digits.

Isn't it more likely that AMD will ship between 60 and 80 million total K7 and above next year?

I think it is possible. Dresden should be able to produce 10 to 12 million Thunderbirds per quarter under .18u, plus about the same number of Durons from Austin.
