Solitaire Minerals Corp SLT
Shares issued 3,600,000 Jul 17 close $0.59
Tue 18 Jul 2000 News Release
Mr. William Iny reports
The company has entered into an agreement to acquire 78 units in five
claims in McWilliams township and Gibbons township for a total of 3,120
acres in the highly prospective River Valley area, east of Sudbury, Ont.
The properties were acquired to cover discrete ultramafic bodies, which are
presumably genetically related to the River Valley intrusive complex.
The company has acquired a 100-per-cent interest, for the consideration of
$5,000 and 20,000 shares, subject to a 1-per-cent net smelter return
royalty retained by the vendor, an arm's-length party. In each instance,
the net smelter return royalty can be purchased by the company for the sum
of $1-million.
The company's properties, located in Scadding, Davis, Kelly, McNish,
Rathbun, McWilliams and Gibbons townships comprise over 20,000 acres,
making Solitaire one of the largest property holders in this region.
The company continues to evaluate additional properties for the purposes of
acquisition, details of which will be reported as agreements are concluded.
