Hmmm... would it be revealing too much if I stated how much I *hate* those little "babycarts" in the grocery store??

Truly... I loathe the hideous things... They elevate the already aggravating nuisance of grocery shopping to a new plateau of loathe-some-ness... seriously...

I had a favourite somewhat smallish grocery store which I frequented on the occasional time when provisions are needed... but that was before the arrival of the dreaded babycarts...

Now, shopping is a nightmare...mainly because I don't care much for being rammed from behind by children drag racing down the aisles with their little carts... And I don't care much for having my ankles smashed repeatedly from one or the other side by children who erratically navigate as they stumble along employing their carts as glorified walkers...

However, I'm glad to report that another grocery store which I had kind of....abandoned... due to the hideous state of their carts which had broken plastic handles, square wheels that bumped, skidded and screeched... and rusty metal baskets which were always coated with particles vaguely resembling rotted lettuce... has suddenly replaced their ENTIRE FLEET with a veritable squadron of gorgeous new carts... sports models ... perhaps even Ferraris... Grey plastic coated steel baskets...with ergonomically designed push bars... and large nicely rounded tires that allow you to cruise silently... Stealth-like... as you glide between the carts of the more sedentary shoppers jamming up the aisles of the bakery department in front of the pastry display case...

And...aaaahhhh... not a babycart to be found for miles.. ;-}>
