Double-digit growth in digital camera sales.

Does Polaroid have a chance???

"At this instant, the head of Polaroid Corp. (PRD.N) expects double-digit gains in sales and profits from the instant film and camera maker's digital products in 2001.

'I wouldn't bat an eye at 20 percent growth rates with some of these digital products'

Chief Executive Gary DiCamillo told reporters on Friday.

The Cambridge, Mass.-based company sold 400,000 digital cameras in the United States in 1999. It expects 2000 sales to exceed that number next week.
