A felony conviction for wire or mail fraud with an order for restitution (non-dischargeable in bk), and the friend laughing when he goes to get the money back.

Regards,

T, All four could go to prison for fraud and income tax evasion, making the state and federal prosecutors very happy. Of course, if somebody had friends who believed in "omerta," didn't have bank accounts or other transaction records, and who would really give the money back some day, it could be a good deal. After all, bankruptcy doesn't hurt that badly. Some of our richest people have been bankrupts earlier in their lives.
