Apparently CS First Boston thinks they can hide their analyst's shoddy track record via lawsuits and intimidation. If CNBC and CNNfn don't illuminate this ugly example of "you are not to hold our analysts accountable for their actions" intimidation, then the world really has gone mad.

Just stumbled upon this discussion (having been interested in Elan in the past).
It almost reads like soap opera - fictitous.
It's a joke.... right?

Since when are investment bankers and analysts above reproach and above critique?

I'm sure CSFB is lily-white, pristine, accurate, meticulous, impartial, and infallible in their judgements and analysis....
Aren't all analysts?

Not sure why they are targeting the board members like this.

(I've read Bill's contributions in the past, and find him very even handed and worthwhile to read).
