While I am not sure about the details of the Willy bus, if it is real 400 MHz, or 200 x 2 or 100 x 4, one thing is clear, that is that there will be 400 million data transfers per second at 8 bytes each which results in the top bandwidth of 3.2 GBs.

Athlon for example has 100 MHz x 2 (sometimes called 200 MHz) that will soon go to 133 MHz x 2 or 266 MHz, again at 8 bytes per transfer, which gives you the bandwidth of 1.6 and 2.1 GBs.
