David, all business files are backed up...up the ying yang LOL. On 3 hard drives, one old tape drive, one ZIP (tm) drive 3x a day, and the accounting records on a floppy that travels with me, just in case the offices and my house, and all the computers burn at once.

But the hundreds, and hundreds of .jpg digital images I have shot over the years......nope!

CD-R...I can get the discs, all I want for nothing, but up here that $200 for a CD-R drive.....is like 10K of CLYC

Bottom line.....yes you are right, :-(

Okay, what if I use dos and chnage each file name?
