Well Zeev I would not argue that the cycles do not matter, but rather that money can be made over the long term despite the cycles, without dramatic moves in and out of techs and chips. So, I guess we sort of agree.

Some time back I did actually do some reading about the Steadman funds- what an awful track record.

Are you giving RMBS a yellow flag instead of red.
RMBS closed at high of day.
No sign of KISS.
I just mught start trading RMBS 2-3 days after he shows up.
Seems to be a good indicator as to when to buy.

BTW is there any chance that RMBS closed below 100 because Rambus management wanted it to. Just found out (not confirmed) and have not seen it discussed that there were huge management incentives if the stock closed above 100 for 30 days. It failed by a day or two I was told (again not confirmed).

It seems that Rambus management has been playing this game extremely well (with help from somewhere). Huge announcements on options expiration day. Stock jumps from 260-340 overnight in the midst of a bear attack, to keep stock above 200 for required period of time.

RMBS reported the the book loss on the employee options but I recall they really expected it to be a gain. Is this possible? Were those options to sell? If employees did sell stock back to the company after it tanked. RMBS now does have a potentially large profit based on gains.

I believe turnips may be behind sechedule again and your August scenario will play out first in July on earnings, and the shorts like KISS will screw up and cause another squeeze in August or September.

What is your ultimate target on this baby anyway?
Maybe I should just hold some shares.

I think I blew it by not hopping back on the Bus at 91, just on the risk reward basis. Now at 105 I think it is much more dangerous but I think the trend is back up.
I believe there is pretty good resistance at 100 and some more at 95.

I will post this also on the RMBS board. Perhaps a reply there would be more in order.
Thanks!!
