Mike, Thread,

I came across this site which I thought you'd find useful (and entertaining if you go directly to the home page). Although, when pressed for time these flash presentations are sometimes a pain in the arse.

intellocity.com

The panel that may interest you for its taxonomical-like view of the various interactive TV architectural elements is at:

intellocity.com [click solutions and then expertise].

I highlight this because of some of our previous discussions concerning: Who are the vendors?, in each of the solution points that are shown. The list of vendors shown is nowhere near exhaustive, but I thought you'd find it interesting, nonetheless. Be sure to use the scroll arrows on the right hand side of the oval-shaped frame.

Mike - I appreciate your follow-up; a bit more civil then the last post directed my way. I think the high and mighty (condescending) position that some people take on this particular board is both unfortunate and unnecessary.

I know Gary Loomis (Emergencyops) quite well. I also know NVEI very well. I've been invested in the company for almost four years, and I've spent thousands of hours following their every move.

Although I had hoped to bring value to the board, and enter into meaningful discussion, I'd frankly rather do just about anything else then be insulted when speaking honestly and with integrity. To each their own, they say. To each their own.

Thanks for trying to reverse the tide of rudeness Mike. You appear to be a man who tries his best to not judge so quickly. I'm sure that worthwhile characteristic serves you well.

Our proprietary Split Bridge(TM) technology consists of a Split Bridge(TM) link, typically two customized semiconductors, known as application-specific integrated circuits, or ASIC chips, two connectors and a high-speed, bi-directional cable. Our technology for the first time allows the primary PCI bus of any computer to be extended to a remote location with virtually no software or performance degradation and enables architectural designs of computer systems and applications that previously were not feasible.
Unlike traditional communication
protocols such as Universal Serial Bus, or USB, IEEE 1394, Ethernet and small
computer systems interface, or SCSI, Split Bridge(TM) offers a combination of:
