Ciao:Canacord views are quite reasonable except they missed one important point. The fundamental purpose of any Business is to make a profit on Sales/revenue; not thru amortization and such accounting allowables. GEAC has consistently failed to make any profit last few Q's and there are warnings of at least 2 more Q's Control of profit in the software Industry is easy. The only resources involved are Salesmen and Programmers. These services can be reduced or even outsourced to ex employees on a commission basis. I would have expected them to react quickly and decisively. They need to return to profitability.
