Only a fool would bet against you.
After all, it's not RAMBUS or Willy it's the benchmarks....!
Reminds me of Star Trek OS episode (later in a movie) about the "Kobiashi Maru"...the no win situation...what do you do? You change the rules!
Intel will change the benchmarks!

Like it or not this is the advantage of being a market leader. Intel probably workforce larger than entire AMDs working on changing industry standards, compiler/benchmarking technology and working with ISVs to ensure new instructions get rolled into software.

Keep in mind, Intel could make the dogchow PIII FPU to look good - One of the reasons I remain cautious about Wilamette performance inspite of the deeper pipeline penalty and single issue FPU.
