The difference is that nufo has appreciated strongly in value and is worth about $500MM. I wasn't involved when it was 9 but my guess that was before nufo went public. COnsidering the market cap of LPD is all of $800M that is a diifference. BTW Paul I think when you bought in the market cap of LDPs public portfolio was around $100MM now it is over 1B.

AMEIN:

Don't be so hard on yourself:

-- you bought at the right time
-- you sold too early (you will do this many times until
you see that tendency in yourself)

Why was LDP so cheap? Because the perceived market for
IPO's at that time was zero. Why is it higher now? Because the market is higher and the perceived market for
future IPO's (as well as the actual market value of the portfolio) is higher.

No stock exists in a vacuum. Most are closely related to
market indices.

Don't just focus on the stock itself, but pay attention to
its relationship to the market.

In my view, LDP is STILL cheap. The opportunity is not
over! You might look at the price action since your initial purchase as confirmation of the fact that you were on the right track.

You just have to evaluate: is there more upside from here?

Best wishes,
Jim
