mark, the Symbian's article is quite significant. Symbian hs now begging Palm to partner with them. They know that phone os is a commodity and no money in stratight phone os. Data os (like Palm os) is where the money is in the future. mindshare means people have already made up their mind to buy Palm before buying and don't need to comparison shop. Futureproof means they can run Palm on top of Epoc's 32-bit platform thus is readied for some more demanding future generation of apps. But I think this point is mood since Palm is already working on a new generation of os of its own and I think it should be readied by the end of this year. Mang
