Another good reason to hate the Yankees - Steinbrenner suggested this week that the Mets were using their outrage over Clemens hitting Piazza in the head as a publicity stunt to divert attention from them losing 3 of four games to the Yanks. What an @##$%^* that guy is!!

So Joe, that lawsuit against the analyst bashers--what were the underlying facts? The plaintiffs would be public figures and thus would have to prove actual malice by the bashers. The really hard part of their case would be proving that the reputation of the analysts was hurt. On an internet message board, I haven't noticed too many people who think anything of the analysts to start with. For example, it's hard to harm the reputation of a wore when you call one a whre. JMHO
