I think MSFT could/should sell puts warrants and do buybacks right now. Relative to Intel, Dell, CSCO, AOL, YHOo, SUNW, ORCL softy's stock price is cheap, way cheap.

Maybe they will need shareholder approval for let's say a planned increase? I really don't know but like I said it can be a trump card of the unknown positive? I just feel very optimistic going forward. It may not be next Tuesday but sometime in the second half we're due for a huge pop in MSFT! Maybe it will come after ia-64 chip release?

How do you know they're not already buying shares back? Some on this thread were pretty adamant that they would be buying back shares by now. I haven't seen any of them come forward and claim they were wrong.
