Summer Scorcher Continues, No sign of slow down. Electronic news Monday July 31, 2000, front page.

The understanding or misunderstanding of Wall Street was that they were looking for economical cycle in the semiconductor industry. What they should be looking for is the economical benefits of deep submicron technology which opened new doors to the new economy. The opportunities are non-existent prior to the accomplishment of deeper submicron lithography. Semiconductors are now ever cheaper to be used in small appliances, telephones, and other devices not yet imagined in a less expensive higher standard of living environment.

So much for analysts on Wall Street, punishing stocks when industry leaders are doing the best they had ever done; all in an excuse of an economical cycle. Higher standard of living promotes better economy. Cycle has been extended for over nine years now. 1998 semiconductors had 0.25 submicron yield problem not an economical cycle, and was fixed within 6 month.
