CMRC: There's a chance this could be the upside surprise of the earnings season, IMHO. Ever since ARBA and CMRC came public, there's bees a sense that ARBA is the clear Number One, with CMRC running well behind. But the fact is that, through the March quarter, CMRC's revenues were growing far faster than ARBA's. If the sales acceleration CMRC has had relative to ARBA continues in the June quarter, CMRC's sales could exceed ARBA's. That would be a huge surprise -- and I think CMRC would quickly move north to close the valuation gap with ARBA. (CMRC is now valued at about one-third of ARBA.)

Here's the revenue comparison:

Mar 1999 Dec 1999 Mar 2000 Jun 2000

ARBA 9.5M 23.5M 40.0M 80.7M
CMRC 2.1M 16.9M 35.0M ?????

Here are growth percentages:

ARBA
Y/Y (Mar 1999-Mar 2000): 321 percent
Q/Q (Dec 1999-Mar 2000): 70 percent
Q/Q (Mar 2000-Jun 2000): 102 percent

CMRC
Y/Y (Mar 1999-Mar 2000): 1567 percent
Q/Q (Dec 1999-Mar 2000): 107 percent
Q/Q (Mar 2000-Jun 2000): ????

I'm not planning to hold CMRC through earnings, but will be watching carefully for that sales number and will have cash on hand to buy if it's $80.7 million or higher.
