I have the VIX at 22.61! This is hardly record volatility.
In fact volatility has been shrinking for the past 5 months.
The one month average volatility for the Nasdaq is .31.

As for "staggering average weighted P/E of 144", he fails to define what his weights are and thereby renders his statement meaningless. In fact, if the the P/E's of the Nasdaq stocks are capitalization weighted they will be no where near the "P/E=144" he is referencing.

So Dreman gets a flunking grade for getting his facts wrong and neglecting to define his methods.
