Casaubon,IBM may get the internut flu virus, but only for a short time.
Teaming with Compaq will be a pretty good vaccine.
EMC is already infected.....
The resistance at 110 is very strong and only a gap up may take it out.

IBM is a superior buy and a probable double within 12 months. It's getting no respect despite the fact that it's positioning itself to be a giant in everything from internet to storage to chips. No longer a PC company it's got bigger things on its mind. It's the most respected and trusted name in computers and has something like 15 billion in guaranteed revenues per year from long-term contracts.
I bought more today figuring the 2nd Q earnings have been more than priced in. No one expects 2nd Q to be great for computer companies anyway. Second half IBM will start to explode upwards. IBM should take out 150 by Xmas. Other superior buys in the tech recovery group are UIS, IFMX, NOVL, T, ADIC. FYI
