Doug, the bearish bubble in gold, like the equity bubble may already be regarded as 'too big to fail' if GATA is right about the size of outstanding gold loans and the manner in which the proceeds have been invested.

this thing about the BoE having lent out its reserves already sounds quite plausible...of course it's hard to prove.

i imagine that people who want to take too close a look at what's really happening are being told off...
