Chung Lee ....<<<< Thread, is this what we can expect next week or is it different this time...due to good ASP and the good profit pipeline from thunderbirds durons.<<<<<>>>>

Chung, it is different this time because market conditions are different. Last April, the market was just getting into its funk. Now the market seems to have picked up volume and breadth, and I believe will start to rally in all sectors.. In addition there has been a greater emphasis than usual on stocks which make earnings (which I assume will be the case) as opposed to companies which miss. Intel because of their huge investment sales, will have a big number which should drag AMD up. AMD is starting from a lower pt. this time as 89.25 is $7 + below the all time high, and with good forward guidence I believe stock should hit triple digits. The only real negative is that witching week is next wk. and Intels P4 announcement.

Chung Lee, Re ... is this what we can expect ...

Could be, but you didn't pick up 4/21, options closing, and 4/24 & 25. It seems to me I made some pretty good money on April ( 75s? 80s? -- I don't remember, but it should be in the posts of the time. ) in the next couple of days by converting the options to shares, holding the stock for a couple of days, then selling some of the excess(I was well into margin after the conversions.)

See quote.yahoo.com

We may well be locked by 'Max Pain' next week -- though I *THINK* that the 95 option close is the one the market makers will take out.

It's going to be an interesting week. Unlike last time, I have some dry powder this time.
