Just my 2 cents: I have often seen the volume and price jump with PNLK PRIOR to a news release. It is certain there are people who know about things going on at the company before the rest of the world and they could be acting on that early knowledge. (or maybe more likely people who know people at the company) To me this seems more probable than shorts covering etc. It may even be that someone was actually waiting for the latest earnings from Ariba etc to get PROOF that b2b is going to work in the real world.
