RR

I had the same thoughts yesterday. It is very interesting to watch the evolution that is occurring amongst this group. What a fantastic place we have here, a place of mutual sharing of ideas and experiences, accelerated learning.

I get awfully excited to think of the possibilities going forward. I love this group.

Thanks RR, have a great weekend. Scott

RR,

"we all have so much to be thankful for in the grand scheme of things"

AMEN! Have been out of touch for a while. Last noted we were entertaining my son who was visiting from Alaska. Now we're in Philly at Children's Hospital with my daughter. 9 days ago she (15) was riding her bike at the foot of the Austrian alps with her older brothers. Had mentioned to a couple of porchies I was concerned about her problem but didn't expect it to turn into a prophecy. Sheafer was born with a congenital defect and had last repair 13 years ago. Has survived very well on old folks meds for a long time but something triggered a reaction and she was in the ER last Sunday. Somebody's angels were looking out for her and she made it thru the first crisis. A couple of hospitals later and a medevac flight Wednesday in a C-141 and we're here. They turn the seats around backwards in those things--weird feeling flying that way especially with no windows. Great hospital if you ever have kids that need cardiac attention. We've got alot to be thankful for, no doubt. She started out life with 3/4 of a heart. Now will have surgery Tuesday to cut it down to 1/2 but will actually be stronger than before, go figure. Still beats the hell out of doing a transplant which is what we thought. Waiting to get this done is the hard part. She's a real trooper I gotta tell you. If you met her you'd never guess she had a problem. Yes, RR, there are some BULLS out here. Obviously, in the "grand scheme of things" the $ don't mean SQUAT.

The porch has been a wonderful place for me to hang. Being a Beano under these circumstances is even more STRESS REDUCTION than you can imagine. Many thanks to Voltaire for teaching me this great tool and to all of you for posting so the rest of us can learn. We do have so much to be thankful for. God Bless you all LOL.

From the front,
Joe
