Yes, it is strange and pathological. It is somewhat shared by Clintonites, as well. Can anyone say what Bill has really done? And yet, the mere fact that he was able to win, when the presidency looked beyond the reach of Democrats, has lent him a mystique. The fact that he handed us the Congress seems not to factor into their minds. Similarly, I cannot fathom the faith reposed in Hillary, even as the heir of Eleanor Roosevelt, a much more intelligent and effective person, in my view..........
