New Expresso MDU Lite LongRun(TM) Gives Service Providers the Optimal Price/Performance
System for the Residential Multi-Tenant Market

PLEASANT HILL, Calif., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Tut Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: TUTS - news), a leading provider of
multi-service broadband systems for multi-tenant residential and commercial buildings, today announced the availability of its
Expresso MDU Lite LongRun system for the multi-tenant market (MTU). Expresso MDU Lite LongRun is an 8-port
multiplexing switch that can be located inside or outside an apartment building to provision high-speed communications at
distances up to 2500 feet over existing copper wire. Designed specifically for the wiring structure of residential MTUs such as
apartment communities, the Expresso MDU Lite LongRun is the longest distance phoneline LAN-based system available
today, and offers service providers the optimal price/performance system for residential MTUs.

The Expresso MDU Lite LongRun represents the most recent expansion of Tut's broadband system product offerings to ensure
that broadband communications can be deployed to virtually every residential MTU building configuration and, specifically,
more distributed MTU environments such as campus environments and garden-style apartments with large distances between
buildings. Approximately 52% of residential MTUs in the United States are garden-style properties with decentralized wiring
configurations.

``With Expresso MDU Lite LongRun, we are expanding our extensive product line and re-emphasizing our commitment to
offer the most complete product portfolio available for service providers wiring up the MTU market,'' said Mark A. Carpenter,
Tut's Vice President of Marketing. ``Our Expresso MDU Lite LongRun, which can be integrated with our OneGate Internet
service platform and our Expresso SMS/OCS subscriber management systems and operations center software line, is a
powerful yet cost-conservative system, offering the optimal performance required for virtually every type of residential MTU
property.''

``Most REITs own a variety of multi-family properties with different unit sizes, wiring schemes, building configurations and
distances between buildings -- all of which present distinct challenges when installing broadband communications,'' said Jim
Miller, Jr., President and Founder of Reflex Communications, Inc., a leading high-speed Internet service provider focused on
the multi-family market. ``The introduction of the Expresso Lite LongRun product not only hits the sweet spot between function
and price, but it makes it easier to deploy to these unique apartment environments quickly, easily -- all without disturbing
existing residents by installing new wiring.''

Thanks Tim, that was an excellent summary of the big
top call that Jonathan Joseph, laid out so nicely.

he nailed down the big semiconductor top, and it goes to
show how when there is widespread derision of a call,

the call often works out in spades.

i don't get it---why the applause for Joseph, all talk coming in this week is that demand for capacitors and flash memory are not slowing ,as company after company are saying they are being stifled in production due to inability to get enough flash memory and electrical components.max90
