Auric,

When I first started to buy SUNW "everyone" knew MSFT & INTC were going to devour them and UNIX. SUNW floundered. I was glad, I bought. Everyone said, 'Buy M$FT", but Bill Gates had yet to find the internet though he was writing "The Road Ahead". Let's say some people lack a certain VISION.

My grade does not come from you Auric. I've been holding WSTL for 3 years and my grade has been pretty BAD, (though definitely improving) and I ain't letting go now that the game has finally begun.

I"m glad at least you've got DSL. Wish I could, as well as many other 'simple people' like me. You not only have DSL but T1 too. Gee, do you think speed is important or do you just like to spend money? Do you think only the 'upper crust' can use the luxury of speed . You'll be positioned well for the AOL/TW/RNWK/SUNW/NSCP6/GTW juggenaut coming along, not to mention the new internet connection of SONY's Playstation 2 coming to the US this fall. I don't think it will fly at 56K. That however, is merely entertainment. Use your own VISION Auric. THE NETWORK IS THE COMPUTER; ALL APPLICATIONS and STORAGE apply. The Internet is the killer application. I'm sure you have EYES. Does the internet yet?

Talk to you again in 6 months and see how the NEED for DSL is progressing and where WSTL is. WSTL is surrounded by a lot of brilliant people who know where things are going. I signed up for their course. They see the future.

SEE you in December, (DSL willing)
Michael
