I agree. Many institutions deal in amounts that need to be "finessed." If they are looking to sell, they must do so on UP days. That said, I saw very little institutional sell interest in RMBS yesterday. In fact -- and surprisingly to me -- I saw some buy interest show up as the stock was running in the early morning. My guess is that someone was covering. Possibly before the earnings release. If so, they may very well be re-initiating their short position by midweek. imo

Jul. 15, 2000 (Electrical Buying News - CTP via CONTOUR) --
Bullish Indicator Bilow Returns To Rambus Thread

After a well-deserved respite, bullish indicator Carl Bilow has returned to the RMBS thread at Silicon Investor.

Bilow gained fame over the past year as a major anti-RMBS contributor to the popular thread. As RMBS stock exploded upward in value, sociologists began to notice a correlation between Bilow's posts and the increasing price of RMBS. The correlation was so pronounced that well-respected turnip stochasticist Zeev Hed determined that there appeared to be a scientific correlation. When asked to comment, Mr. Hed said, "I'm like most people - I don't argue with vegetables."
