ENSCO Jackup Rig Sustains Minor Damage

DALLAS, Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- ENSCO International Incorporated
(NYSE: ESV) announced that its harsh environment jackup rig ENSCO 101 had
sustained minor leg damage while moving onto a drilling location in the U.K.
sector of the North Sea. There were no injuries. The rig is currently en
route to a shipyard to assess and repair the damage. It is currently expected
that the rig will return to work within three to six weeks.
ENSCO, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, provides contract drilling and
marine transportation services to the international petroleum industry.
