Lawrence,

I've been following the techs a lot lately and haven't read much on TX for the past year or so but I always liked
the oil rig and field stuff they had and their computerized
satalite link to the various remote sites, looked like a great setup. I don't remember if I read about that in a past
year end
report, or maybe it was in Scientific American Magazine. They had a special issue about oil drilling etc maybe a year ago. It was a very informative issue on new drilling and exploration etc technics. You might try and find it in a library. I think they have a yearly and ten year index of past articles.
I also like how Texaco is a sponsor of opera and orchestral radio shows. I've listened to them in the Chicago area since I was a kid on the weekend. Most radio and TV adds don't stick with me, but I for some reason remember that Texaco brought me those shows.
