AG:
You got to be out of your mind if you are shorting WSTL here. (I agree with you that it may not be "worth" the current price).

It will be a MUCH better short at around 60, or wherever it goes to in the next 45 days. The current trend just hasn't run out of steam yet.

What is your forecast for revenues?

What do you think WSTL will report for revenues for the JunQ? In the MarQ they did 42 million, and analysts expect around 80 million this Q.

How much will the margins deteriorate? You say gross margins on CPE will decrease. Last Q gross margins on CPE increased. The company expected gross margins on CPE to increase again this Q as CPE dollar volume explodes. How much will CPE gross margins drop, and how much will WSTL overall company gross margin drop?

Thanks in advance, Paul

have enjoyed reading the past weeks posts. up/down who really cares. its going up now because we have more buyers plain and simple. after earnings its going back down because there will be more sellers. fundamentals are for people trying to explain their losses. the upward movement will start to stall within a day or two (either way of earnings)and back down she goes. the chart will tell me when and thats when i will talk with my money.

until then i will continue to enjoy reading as two immovable forces try to convince the other why they are right. lol

Auric I have waded through your post and yes you have as much right to state your opinon as anyone here, and I do find some of them interesting. I just could'nt resist responding to YOU . As far as the KILLER APP for DSL well Auric it is all around you, you seem to use the internet and well yes that would be the first and foremost but, you amaze me at your lack of understanding of how Broadband access to the largest network in the world is un-important, get a grip. A dial-up PPP connection limits the KILLER APPS that can be used within this LARGE network. I was first exposed to XDSL in antarctica and did some field trial's with Pair Gain HDSL equipment. If you can not understand how the costs of deployment are so greatly reduced buy using this technology I will not attempt to expalin it to you just take my word for it it has BIG advantages over narrow band connections with copper . I can see many apps that can an do already make dsl a great technoloy . I am only going to mention one KILLER app and let you pick it apart go ahead show how un-informed you are, Lets take ONE APP and look at it

A call Center, paying for floor space for Agents to sit and answer calls. What about $50 bucks a SQ Ft per month and how much space 10 sq ft to much for you I think not, Ok lets allow this agent to work from Home.We provide a DSL connection to his/her house provide a PBX extension a fax connection and a network connection all over lets say 768k ADSL connection ( currently can be provided over 128k) Whats the cost $50 a month or so, whats the savings $450.00 a month PER Agent, given a large call center of lets say 500 call agents well you do the Math ok . Well would you call this a KILLER APP.Let go free yourself and maybe you can see the potential of Broadband ..Yes your right this is but ONE APP but trust me thier are many and will be many More. Make it work and they will come..

Jon

This is a classic Institutional sell on the news to retail play.

Nothing unique about that.
Not unique to this stock either.
Happens all the time, n'est pa?
