Pierre Belec is usually balanced in his market analysis, to his credit. BTW, I just read the article on goldbugs in the latest New Yorker... it made the subjects of the article sound pathetic and mentally inflexible (if not unstable), ever hoping that gold will rise again and bring with it their own personal glory and former financial well-being. It would be poetic justice for this article to mark a bottom in gold, but I don't think that we should count on it.
