>>>reported record earnings and DECLINED Friday<<<

thats because investors are back to the beginning of the year stuff, where they sell the old economy to buy tech, showing up clearly in the drugs.

this thing has a sweet wave count, but it's unclear whether the top a couple of days ago was wave 5 of 5 or wave 3 of 5.

Agree totally on your inflation front. Simply amazing. Wait until this winter when heating oil and natural gas prices spike upwards. But those computer prices keep coming down, therefore, no need to concern ourselves with inflation. Hogwash! IMHO, this is a Street led tech rally until the current earnings season is over. This gives some more time for the Street to distribute some more paper - lots of paper. We're approaching the upper limits of the trading range. To try and squeeze out that extra 10-20 points is not the game I want to participate in. And this is one helluva game. How many high flying tech stocks have run 50 to over 100 points since May. Many. They couldn't give RBAK away at $50-60/share 2 months ago. Now it's a bargain at $160. Really??? Any of us could name additional numerous examples. The Fed is watching for sure. IMHO, when the current earnings season nears its completion and there isn't anything on the horizon from that front for another 3 months, watch out below. We're entering the dreaded August-October time frame. Summer rally? - Stocks have been rallying since May - we're in the last leg of this rally IMO. The shorts could really have a field day. Good luck all.
