Which one is the 'winner', according to your definition?
At this juncture, it looks to me like we are about to do the same thing in the OFDM realm as what happened years ago in the US regarding cellular standards, i.e. there will be more than one "standard". Microsoft is an an interesting case, in that they seem to be at odds with the IETF on XML scripting, as with Java, trying hard to write proprietary code.
