Hi SbH. I see you can't stay away either.

It may well be true that the perception of 'justice' in Japan is different than it is here. But I wouldn't make any assumptions about what they will do in U.S. litigation because of that.

Under the proper circumstances any culture that was able to find a use for the 'Ninja' should have no problem making proper use of lawyers. :8)

If Dan3 is right about the settlement terms Hitachi accepted, and I think he is, the games not over yet.

In hindsight, it should have been obvious that the japanese will settle.

Don Green called it a couple of days before the announcement. He said their attitude would be "just make it go away."
