S.U.N. --- The name comes from Stanford University Network. "Network" as in "The Network is the Computer". Now, UNIX is a NETWORK operating system. Sun has never used anything else. The Internet runs on UNIX. --- I will give you though that Scotty (whos DOG is named "Network") and company actually had to DRIVE over to Berkeley to talk to Bill Joy instead of ringing him up on the ICQ or whatever. :) -JCJ
