OT Don't forget that the owners of the utility poles charge any and all producers for use/maintainance in effect creating yet another layer of ownership entitled to a profit. I live in MA, where New England Elec. was the first utility to go through this action. A company called the Grid, from England, now is my elec. generator. The orig. company still owns the poles, etc., as another corporation. Our rates have actually gone down initially, BTW. FWIW, JohnD
