Well, you bring up a very good point about the ultra-rich that seems to be resurfacing once again. Just what does a person do when they have accumulated more wealth than the combined GDPs of the undeveloped world?

Only recently has BG tried to step into the shoes of such predeccessor as Rockefeller and Carnegie. I don't know if he has it in him to go too far with his philantropy though right now. He'll probably have to age a bit before he realizes that what is important is not how much you accumulate, but what you do with it.

Glad you liked my professor's sage observation... (He never admitted to having come up with it himself, but neither did he deny it.. :0) It has stuck with me from the day I first heard it.
