Mike,
Hi!!

RE: Kemble, Dell is worth the PE of CSCO. Hang on to your ticket to this Dell train.

You know...My dad never gives up...He's still trying to teach me math... :o)
Had another "lesson" over the weekend on PE Ratio ...Current Ratio...PE Gain...You know...that stuff I don't like to do... :o) Well, he's got DELL at a current Ratio of 1.81 and tells me that companies like CSCO and MSFT usually hold a Ratio of 3.0 where companies like EMC and SUNW hold one of 4.0...
Well, I guess one would use these numbers to decide when it's oversold...overbought...or whatever...I guess it's because they're 800lb. gorillas in their areas...IMO DELL will be stealing some of this higher value at the expense of SUNW ...But, it wouldn't be fair to just judge DELL by that...DELL's own model in my estimation is unbeatable...Just ask Mort huh? :o) And, with that aren't DELL's new ventures into service and hosting a reason to evaluate DELL at a higher PE? Shortly I believe the figures will prove that DELL is moving up the food chain in these areas...Their hosting site appears to be off to a great start...Let's hope their abilities to succeed for themselves over the past 5 years or so is just as valuable to the other companies that deal with DELL for hardware and gaining the DELL knowledge for a price..."POSTER CHILD OF THE INTERNET"...or "fast becoming the premier infrastructure provider"...Don Collis...Thus DELL gaining the equivalent PE of CSCO is perhaps quite possible in the short term...

Best, Kemble
