You may be right, however, it can't be as bad as the gold sector and Barrick Gold still turns a profit. Software isn't like gold were the price varies depending on supply and demand and the work force isn't highly skilled. In mining you could shut down a losing mine or two and lay the people off. When the price returns to a profitable level they could re-open those mines and not miss a beat. In the software business you couldn't do this. Do you know that software people are in high demand. I interpreted a statement by Burgeron in his CC that he thinks the industry is going through a purge of weak companies. Geac isn't going to be the one that gets purged so when the demand does come back he has all the high paid work force and products in place ready to make some serious money. The problem we have now is that we are in a slow demand period for software and the bottom line is hurting but that's necessary to keep the high priced help around so that when the demands returns Geac will be ready. As far as 6 or 7 bucks goes anything could happen. If Geac did manage to break the trend and post really good numbers then we would have been in the teens and then dumpthewhatever would be gone. As far as dumpthewhatever goes he doesn't base anything an anything so in my books he is just a crap shooter. :-) JMHO Mike
