Unfortunately, Rambi, you totally missed the point behind Michael's post, as well as the reason why I claim to have been vindicated.

Earlier this week I mentioned of an incident which I had heard on the radio news several years ago. I did not recollect the details nor did I have a URL to the story - (for all I know this story predates the internet). I was called a liar and a bullshitter and was ridiculed for mentioning the story. Aside from my ongoing dispute with my primate friend, I do not believe that I have ever given anyone here any reason to question my integrity.

Michael now presents us with a story which is even more unbelievable than mine. The only difference being that his story has a URL. I can just imagine the abuse thrown at Michael had he mentioned the story without the link.

My dear Rambi, you know full well that the media has an agenda. They are very selective of the stories they carry. Whether their bias is Republican or Democrat, whether it is liberal or conservative, left or right, we know the slant in the story simply by knowing which paper we're reading.

The point behind Michael's post is that simply because an incident is NOT carried by the mainstream press it does not mean it didn't happen. This is a point which many fellow posters conveniently forgot while they were launching their insults at me. It is for this reason that I feel partially vindicated.

Cheers

Vince
