Hmmm.... I had a dream about rodents last night too... In my dream, I opened one of the kitchen cabinet doors and there was a black and white hooded rat standing on the shelf next to the glasses. I noticed that there was a hole ripped in the ceiling where it must have come down from the attic (reference to your exterminator dream I believe). Much as a rat would be a gross thing to find in the kitchen under any circumstances, I was particularly horrified because somehow (intuitively) I "knew" that it had been crawling around in sewage sludge before it came to my farm and I was wondering if it could be carrying some kind of a disease... Now, for your dream... mutated mice... hmmmm... I've just been reading about a place called Sierra Blanca in Texas where sewage sludge is shipped down by trains from NYC to spread all over the desert and now there is going to be some kind of radio-active waste dump built there as well. Hopefully Sierra Blanca isn't anywhere near you... or that might explain the mutant mice... (-:

Just checked... Hudspeth Country and Sierra Blanca would be far away from you... But now I'm thinking of what it must be costing to ship so much NYC poop down to the western-most point in Texas: New York City already ships treated sewage--400 tons every day since 1992--to a 128,000-acre ranch outside Sierra Blanca. <<Why last night, I dreamed >> I did too after some 12 year old called me at 1:45am to say fuck you and hang up. He was smart enough to use a cell phone so caller ID saved his life. My dream was I had an old barn. Something was in the old barn that would cause the loft to shake at times. The barn was used to store old tools. I was building some fence and heard screams. Henry Fonda and my younger sister (I'm an only child) were caught in a rope and being dragged into the barn. I ran into the barn amidst all the rumblings and grabbed a machete and sliced the rope. Then I went to the loft to settle matters once and for all. Saw a small guy in a grey 3 button suit who was filled with rage but came off as a monster. He had been convicted of killing his true love but didn't do it. As President of the United States of America I granted him a pardon.
