Yesterday, I decided I couldn't take it anymore. We've been watching Twin Peaks on Bravo for 22 episodes now. I only know that because I checked on a Twin Peaks website, and there are seven episodes to go. That's half a year of spending every Friday night home so we don't miss a show. I know, we could program the VCR, and I even bought a special easy-to-program VCR, but none of us knows how to do it. I could read the manual, but it's not in any language I understand, even though it looks like English.

Friday after watching the weekly episode I told Chris that the suspense was killing me, and he told me that he had seen the entire series for sale at a video store for less than $100. So yesterday I bought it. We decided to begin at the beginning, so last night we watched episodes 1 through 3. I feel like there is something wrong with me, but today while we were out running errands, I smiled to myself thinking that I was looking forward to tonight.

I saw part of an Elvis movie last night, King Creole. I don't think I'd ever watched an Elvis movie before. A young Walter Matthau plays the heavy. We need you to compare the adolescent brains of the '50s with those of the 00s.
