Mark,

Something tells me a couple of guys from Tennessee will have Loren Roberts as one of their picks.

Regards,

Ken

Mark,

Love British Open week. Watching the preview shows on the golf channel right now. That Watson and Bear duel in 77? was just amazing. That birdie putt Jack made on 18 to keeps his hopes alive was why this guy is/was the champion of all time. His words to Watson where just class all the way, "I gave you my best shot, and it just wasn't good enough".

I am stuck on my picks. Don't know who to pick, but Els and Lehman are going to be in there.

Observation on putting. I have been playing my lights out, and a part of that is due to the talk with JBC on putting a few weeks ago. I think I got comfortable knowing that I can two putt at worst 15 out of 18 greens. I noticed I just started lagging those longs one with a second putt in mind. The last few days I have forced myself to refocus on dropping the 25 and 40 footers too. Surprising results as I have made quite a few more tap-in after the long one, and actually dropped more than I expected. I would add that the Never Compromise is a part of it, if only in regards to confidence. Then again, my playing partners have been saying that when I have a five footers left that its a "gimme". That might be a bit of stretch, but I have to tell everyone here again....TRY THE GRAY MATTER BY NEVER COMPROMISE.

That Road Hole bunker scares the hell out me. And that bunker at St. Andrews called "Hell". I forgot which hole its on, but its way back from the green so you really are in hell if you find it.

Justin has been playing pretty good the last few weeks, and he does well here. As does Jesper, but KFE has been instructed to not let me pick him. That means he will win this time.

Hogan Apex and Armour E-25 forged. These are not your fathers forged clubs. Try them out if you can. The Hogens are just solid as can be, and very nicely weighted. I just don't like the Hogan shaft. The Armour are very nice too, and you can get with with Dynamic Golds. Very workable, but not very forgiving.

Have a good one all, and hit em soon.
