Fair comment Stephen [on moderated threads etc].

On NZ, it's now the 'Land of the Long White Shroud', since the communists/fascists/crazies took power last election and Wellington was renamed Helengrad.

But, CDMA phragmented photons are sprinkling the landscape with Pixie Dust as Telecom rolls out their network [ready for service next June], so things are looking up anyway.

Fair enough to look after your investments, but what about fun? Also how about being emotionally involved with technology and stocks. Some crazy types even go so far as to say people should keep emotions out of investing. What madness!

Humans are inextricably linked to their emotions whether they know that or not. Self-delusion [thinking they keep their emotions out of investment] is the worst thing to do in investing. I love to love my stocks. I love to admire the people who run the company which I back. I enjoy to feel the sheer pleasure of success. The money is not bad either.

Get emotions into investing! That's the way to succeed.

I love CDMA. I love Q!

PS: 3G spectrum auction in Helengrad - results for Monday...
auction.med.govt.nz

Schedule 33 onwards are the 3G lots. Leap Wireless not in. There seems likely to be really cheap spectrum. Seems that other than in cities, Q! might not have left a lot on the table in royalties since spectrum is so cheap. UK $35bn was at the opposite end of the price spectrum. All very interesting and the bidding is not over yet.

Here's the main page

I wish people would remember this...as I have said MANY times before...
I am here because I liked the way the building on Lusk looked on my way home from surfin' several years back. Now I stay because I love QCOM.

DD? What's that?
